Parham Doctors' Hospital unveiled a mural that was painted as part of an art therapy project by adults with intellectual disabilities and others receiving outpatient services from the hospital.
A centerpiece to the hospital's refurbished lobby, the mural spells "Parham" in bold letters. Inside each letter is a scene or imagery that reflects the hospital's departments and functions. Artist Tammy Hinkle oversaw the project and credited the collaboration of the 13 artists, which included four from the Hermitage Enterprises and Cypress Enterprises programs of Henrico Area Mental Health & Developmental Services.
